The mood in Maranello is also becoming increasingly unpleasant, as Corriere della Sera now reports that it appears ‘almost impossible’ for Ferrari and Hamilton to revive the marriage of the century. Hamilton joined Ferrari on an initial two-year contract, with an option for 2027.

Ferrari saw Hamilton qualify last on pure pace for the first time in his career in Las Vegas, as the record 104-time polesitter struggled in the worst of the wet conditions. He was able to climb through the order to run P10 before McLaren’s double disqualification gifted him P8.
