Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari Dream is IMPLODING! Insiders Claim He’s “Shying Away” From Responsibility as He Nears Point of No Return But Exit Due To…
Hamilton could not stop pinching himself upon joining Ferrari for his 19th year on the grid in 2025. The Briton also declared in February that the Scuderia had “every ingredient” to win a title. Yet Hamilton realised that his early optimism was very misplaced as the term evolved.
After retiring from the Sao Paulo Grand Prix earlier in November, Hamilton admitted that he is living a “nightmare” at Ferrari. And, speaking after he finished P8 in the Las Vegas GP last weekend, Hamilton called 2025 his “worst season ever” as this term “keeps getting worse”.
Lewis Hamilton shying from taking responsibility risks destroying his relationship with Ferrari
Hamilton believes he is trying everything to improve his results with Ferrari, having recorded only 152 points from 22 of the 24 rounds for sixth place in the F1 drivers’ championship. The record 105-time Grand Prix winner is also yet to earn a podium finish since he joined Ferrari.

The mood in Maranello is also becoming increasingly unpleasant, as Corriere della Sera now reports that it appears ‘almost impossible’ for Ferrari and Hamilton to revive the marriage of the century. Hamilton joined Ferrari on an initial two-year contract, with an option for 2027.

Hamilton’s regular outbursts of his disaffection have created concern, as he also ‘shies away’ from taking responsibility for his woes in the 2025 F1 season. The seven-time champion has often ridiculed the flaws that riddle the SF-25, much to the dismay of chairman John Elkann.
Lewis Hamilton told Ferrari to ‘change driver’ amid his misery in Hungary, which has only persisted
Elkann told Ferrari’s drivers to “focus on driving” and “talk less” a day after the Sao Paulo GP, in an unprovoked attack that many believe was aimed more towards Hamilton than Charles Leclerc given the former’s remarks in Brazil. And Hamilton would double down in Las Vegas.
Reaction to Lewis Hamilton’s Las Vegas Grand Prix performance
Hamilton defended himself following Elkann’s attack ahead of the Las Vegas GP, by claiming that he has spent more time at Ferrari’s factory this year than at any stage of his career. But the race brought yet more misery to his feet, and led to another public show of discontent.
Ferrari saw Hamilton qualify last on pure pace for the first time in his career in Las Vegas, as the record 104-time polesitter struggled in the worst of the wet conditions. He was able to climb through the order to run P10 before McLaren’s double disqualification gifted him P8.
But Hamilton has not always shied away from blaming himself for his problems since leaving Mercedes. After he qualified P12 for August’s Hungarian GP, Hamilton suggested that Ferrari “need to change driver”, called himself “useless” and declared the team had “no problems
