In 2019, Mahomes established the “15 and the Mahomies Foundation,” an organization that focuses on improving the lives of children by focusing on health and wellness initiatives.

On Oct. 20, Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, held the sixth annual 15 and the Mahomies Gala, which garnered over $1.5 million in donations to 27 Kansas City charities, according to the foundation’s Instagram.

On Monday, the Chiefs congratulated Mahomes and his organization on the team’s X account for an incredible community event.

“Giving back to the KC community ❤️ At their 6th annual gala, the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation announced that in the past year, they granted over $1.5 million to 27 local charities!” the caption read.

This is another incredible achievement in the career and life of the 30-year-old Mahomes.

He and the Chiefs (5-4) will be back on the field on Sunday to take on the Denver Broncos (8-2) at 4:25 p.m. on CBS.
